NEW MAP: GOBI (TEAM DEATHMATCH)

Encompassing land across China and Mongolia, the Gobi Desert is the world’s sixth-largest desert. As a storm rages around you, work as a team to battle it out in the dusty chambers of an ancient temple. Found in the new Chinese Conflict Zone, take a closer look at this new Team Deathmatch map in action:

NEW MAP: DMZ (TACTICAL OPS)

The Korean Demilitarized Zone is the border barrier separating North and South Korea. Flanked by oceans and running 250km, it is heavily guarded on both sides by soldiers, razor wire, landmines, heavy armaments, and other dangerous deterrents. Use uneven terrain to your advantage as you fight to secure objectives in this no man’s land. Do some reconnaissance on this new Tactical Ops map in the trailer below:

GEAR UP WITH NEW OPERATORS

Fight to unlock brand-new Operator Blueprints from the Battle Pass:

• ROK 707th SMG (South Korea): The 707th Special Mission Group is an elite special forces unit formed in the 1980s by the Republic of Korea. Specialized in direct action, they act as South Korea’s primary counter-terrorism unit.
• PLAGF (China): Founded in 1927 as the Chinese Red Army, the People's Liberation Army Ground Force is the oldest and largest of China’s armed forces. This army is highly trained and ready for just about anything, including rapid reaction combat, counter-terrorism, and even electronic warfare.
• DMZ Guard (South Korea): A sentinel of no man’s land, standing watch between two nations along the Korean Peninsula.

EXPAND YOUR ARSENAL WITH NEW WEAPONS

Try out new tactical approaches with these weapons:

• K2C1 (Assault Rifle): A trusty service rifle carried by South Korean military personnel. Shoulder-fired and loaded with hollow-point rounds, this assault rifle will tear through unarmoured combatants. With surprisingly high hip-firing accuracy, it’ll give you an edge in the corridors of Gobi Desert Temple.
• QBZ-95 (Assault Rifle): Manufactured in China, this assault rifle’s bullpup design places its action and magazine behind the trigger, resulting in a compact, easy-to-control firearm. While its rate of fire isn’t too competitive, minimal recoil makes it a solid and reliable choice.

CALL IN HEAVY ORDNANCE WITH NEW STRIKES

New strikes and vehicles are at your disposal:

• ZTZ-99 (Main Light Battle Tank): Boasting a 125mm caliber gun that can cover any weak points with sheer firepower, this tank is crucial to China’s defenses. It can traverse rough terrain and metropolitan areas more easily than other tanks.
• K21 (Light Infantry Fighting Vehicle): Its fiberglass chassis makes it light enough to gain a speed advantage… but it’s no glass cannon. It’s more than capable of combating enemy IFVs, and mobile enough to make a quick getaway.
• IMUGI (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle): Your eye in the sky. Fly high and fast above proceedings, and use air-to-surface missiles to catch enemies off-guard with powerful ground attacks.

IMPORTANT: All base Blueprints for new weapons, vehicles, and strikes in Operation Redline can be unlocked via free progression and do not require the purchase of a Battle Pass.

Throughout various tests and the Open Beta phase, we’ve been paying careful attention to your feedback while optimizing the game to improve the play experience at every opportunity. We’re thrilled to launch Operation Redline along with a host of exciting new features and quality-of-life updates, including:

• Lean Reloading: Keep an eye out in first-person and third-person perspectives while reloading.
• Point Shooting Techniques: A fast, deadly middle-ground between ADS (aiming down sights) and hip shooting.
• Health Bar Mobility Changes: Your mobility (impacted by the weight of your gear loadout) now impacts different HP segments and health regeneration.
• Improved Collision: Enjoy improved, realistic weapon collision in first-person, and more responsive, fluid collisions while moving.
• Game World Markers: Add markers in the game world, and get a heads-up on where your squad is, their requests, and the gadgets your squad is handling.
• Improved Vehicle Wrecks: Cool guys do look at explosions.
• Base Protection System: Keep your team safe with protection for you and your allies while in your base.
• Vehicle Spawns: Neutral vehicles now spawn at capture points, offering more rewards for completing objectives.
• New Control Customization Options: Cycle easily through sights and fire modes with new keybind options.

Your earned gear will be sent to your Inventory after your first login each day.
