We’re proud to offer this exclusive pre-release window of playtime to Closed Beta players and Veterans as thanks for their incredible support through Early Access, the Veteran Alpha Test, Closed Beta, Public Stress Tests, and now a major new milestone: the free-to-play Open Beta. We look forward to the continued support of our player community as we soldier on together to a bigger, brighter future!

Players with Headstart access can play World War 3 today to enjoy the following features:

• Complete Open Beta Experience: Use your Headstart access to get started on progression before the free-to-play Open Beta begins, and experience this new and improved version of the game before just about everyone else!
• New and Improved Game: Countless improvements have been made to improve the game on a technical, visual, audio, and gameplay level. Check out the full list of changes in the Open Beta patch notes.
• Smolensk Returns: A newly-reworked Smolensk (Tactical Ops) is back in map rotation. See what’s new in the Feature Spotlight!
• Shop Added: The Shop is your sandbox for customization options and useful items in WW3.
• Double XP: Kick off the Headstart and Open Beta with 10 days of double XP from September 26–October 6!

You can also start the fight in World War 3 with the YEAR 1 | Starter Pack! Available from the official WW3 website and Steam, this bundle contains exclusive content you can't get anywhere else, including new Blueprints for your Operator and M416 assault rifle, premium currency, and five XP Boosters.

If you don’t have Headstart access, there’s not long left to wait. World War 3 will be free to download and play from the official WW3 website and Steam on September 29 at 10:00 UTC!
